World Music Denmark presents 6 Danish bands during Popkomm in Berlin
More and more Danish world bands are signed on by German booking agencies and are distributed by the German record companies. Germany really seems to be the country of choise when Danish world bands go on tour abroad. To help the six bands with their international career World Music Denmark has organised a showcase at Ballhaus Ost in Berlin on 10th September, where they will have the opportunity to perform in front of professionals from the German world music scene.
World Music Denmark has hired Sophie Bech from Knokl Management to coordinate the marketing of the six showcases in collaboration with the bands' German booking agencies and management companies and their German record and distribution companies.
The six world bands, selected to play showcase in Berlin during Popkomm are: Analogik, Afenginn, Karen Mukupa, Mames Babegenush, Dánjal and Dalia Faitelson's Pilpel.
