The atmosphere was excited when the annual Danish Music Awards World Friday the 23th of November celebrated the Danish world music scene – a scene that’s growing every year.
The host of the show was the festive comic Omar Marzouk who gently guided the audience and bands through the evening. And of course no party without music! This year the music was delivered by the charismatic Mexican singer Edith Tamayo with band, the live version of the well-reviewed show The Bollywood Trip feat. a.o. Snöleoparden and Waqas (Outlandish). Later the Tako Lako delivered a multi-coloured party orgy of psychedelic balkan and in the end Von Dü gave the audience a sublime injection of reggae/ska. After the concerts the DJ-team DeMoov continued the danceable rhythms.
